The Noob Experiment TD Tools and Calculators
Useful tools and calculators for The Noob Experiment TD - optimize your gameplay with these utilities
NETD Planning Tools
This page is a practical toolkit for The Noob Experiment TD players who want cleaner economy timing and clearer damage goals before a match starts. Everything here is client-side reference material — no account login, no executor, no “free Godly” nonsense. Use it alongside the Getting Started Guide, Game Mechanics, and the Unit Tier List.
NETD rewards players who keep cash flowing (farmers like Chief Scientist Guest) while upgrading real DPS (E to upgrade, X to remove mistakes). The tables and calculator below help you estimate whether your planned board can keep up as waves escalate, especially in co-op where difficulty scales for better rewards.
Interactive Economy & DPS Planner
Adjust the fields, then read the summary. Numbers are planning estimates for comparing strategies — always verify live unit stats in-game after patches, because NETD is in beta.
How to Read the Planner
- Farmer income / wave — Approximate cash your economy units generate each wave. Strong farmers (especially Chief Scientist Guest after the recent crate additions) raise this number more than random early DPS.
- Wave clear bonus — End-of-wave payouts and incidental kill cash lumped together for planning.
- Planned DPS — Sum of your intended board’s damage per second at the upgrade level you expect by that wave.
- Enemy HP at final wave — Use a boss or tankiest enemy you care about surviving.
- Path time — Rough seconds an enemy spends in range if your towers cover the lane. Short maps need higher burst; long lanes forgive slower DPS.
- Upgrade budget share — Many strong NETD boards spend a bit more than half of mid-game cash on E upgrades once the skeleton of the defense exists.
If the calculator says you are underpowered, do not only buy more towers. Remove dead weight with X, fund another farmer, then upgrade carries. Co-op parties should assign one dedicated farmer so scaled HP does not outpace shared income.
Static Economy Benchmarks
Use these as conversation starters for loadout planning. Exact cash values shift with patches; the ratios stay useful.
| Phase | Goal | Common mistake |
|---|---|---|
| Waves 1–5 | Establish 1–2 farmers, minimal stall DPS | Over-upgrading starter Noobs before income exists |
| Waves 6–12 | Convert income into 1 real carry + coverage | Spreading upgrades evenly across five mediocre towers |
| Waves 13–20 | Specialize for map bosses / dense packs | Ignoring SoundWave / splash options when path clogs |
| Endless | Refresh sells, protect farmers, rotate damaged lanes | Refusing to X outdated early units |
Damage Role Cheatsheet
| Role | Job | Example direction |
|---|---|---|
| Farmer | Cash engine | Chief Scientist Guest and similar scientists |
| Single-target carry | Boss melting | High-end Juggernaut / titan carries |
| Wave clear / utility | Clump control | Juggernaut Boombox (SoundWave) and splash supports |
| Starter filler | Survive until economy spikes | Cheap Noobs/Guests you plan to sell |
Cross-check names and tiers on the Best Units Guide after every major update — beta rebalances move units between these roles.
Co-op Planning Notes
Co-op scales difficulty for better rewards. Multiply your HP check in the planner when you add players, and make sure total party farmer income rises at least as fast. A four-stack of pure DPS with zero economy fails expensive scaled waves even if everyone owns Godly crate luck. Read the Co-op Guide for role templates, then return here to sanity-check cash versus HP.
Map and Mode Tweaks
- Roblox HQ (new map) — Learn chokes before optimizing DPS totals; path time in the calculator should match the real lane you play.
- Endless survival — Raise the wave count and HP fields aggressively; plan sell cycles so farmers never die first.
- Quest days — Daily/weekly quests can push you onto suboptimal maps. Use the planner to decide whether to bring a safe economy shell or a glass-cannon clear for speed.
Redeem working codes (NETD, 12K_LIKES, 115K_MEMBERS) before long planning sessions so your practice matches a realistic currency cushion. Track live changes on Updates.
What This Page Intentionally Avoids
We do not ship auto-farm executors, crate “guaranteed Godly” macros, or anything that injects into the Roblox client. Those tools violate Roblox Terms of Service, risk bans, and frequently bundle malware. For a full risk breakdown and legitimate alternatives, see the Scripts page.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are the calculator numbers exact for live NETD?
A: No. They are relative planning estimates. Always confirm unit DPS, farmer ticks, and enemy HP in the current beta build.
Q: Why start with economy fields instead of DPS?
A: Most mid-game losses are income failures disguised as “weak units.” Farmers fund the upgrades that make DPS real.
Q: Can I use this for co-op?
A: Yes — increase enemy HP to reflect scaling and sum the party’s farmer income and DPS before judging coverage.
Q: Where do I learn placement after planning numbers?
A: Use the Maps Guide and Getting Started Guide for lane-specific advice.
Q: Do codes change the planner?
A: Codes raise starting cash. Bump the starting cash field after redeeming milestone codes.
